The Panhandle preps for festive Dia de los Muertos weekend

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Amarillo is gearing up for multiple Dia de los Muertos celebrations this year, with two distinct events offering vibrant cultural experiences for the community.

The Amarillo Council for the Latino Arts (ACLA) will host a comprehensive Dia de Muertos Festival at Starlight Ranch, while Amarillo Parks and Rec will host a celebration at Sam Houston Park. Both events are on Friday, Nov. 1, providing diverse opportunities for residents to honor loved ones and engage with this rich tradition.
