ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reports that the city’s homicide rate has dropped significantly this year, reaching its lowest point in more than a decade.
As of the end of October, St. Louis has recorded 119 homicides — the fewest by this point in the year since 2013, when there were 94 killings through Nov. 1, according to SLMPD data.
