COLUMBUS, OH – A man was taken into custody early Wednesday morning after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and threatening her with a firearm during a domestic dispute on the city’s north side.
Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were dispatched around 12:27 a.m. to the 2000 block of Pontiac Street following reports of an armed suspect.
Police say the victim told officers that her boyfriend had assaulted her and made threats while carrying a gun.
