The University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UT), will hold several events in November 2025 to mark Veterans Day. The events aim to recognize veterans and military-connected individuals in the university community. Vice Provost for Student Success Amber Williams said the university supports veterans and provides resources for student veterans. The events are organized by campus groups such as the Army and Air Force ROTC, Athletics, the Division of Student Success, and the Veterans Success Center.
The activities begin with the Campus Veterans Appreciation Celebration on Thursday, November 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Neyland Stadium’s Social Deck. This dinner and social event is open to UT military faculty, staff, students, and their families. Those interested can contact the Veterans Success Center for details.
On Friday, November 7, the Army and Air Force ROTC will hold a Veterans Run at 5:45 a.m. The 2.5-mile route goes from the Rock to the Anderson Training Center. UT Police, UT System President Randy Boyd, and Provost John Zomchick will take part. The event is open to all campus veterans.
