LAFAYETTE, La. (KMDL-FM) – If you have YouTube TV, woke up this morning and tried to watch channels like ABC or ESPN, you didn’t have any luck.
Why ABC and ESPN Disappeared from YouTube TV
The reason? It has to do with an ongoing contract dispute between ABC and YouTube TV.
What This Means for Louisiana Viewers
For residents in Acadiana, that means no KATC-TV 3. The ABC affiliate owned by The E.W. Scripps Company is part of that current blackout. However, in a story on its website, KATC’s management reminds the public that “Scripps is not involved in the current contract negotiations between YouTube TV and ABC which is owned by Disney.”
