St. Louis groups hold emergency food drive amid SNAP shutdown

BALLWIN, Mo. – With federally-funded SNAP benefits unavailable due to the government shutdown, several St. Louis-area groups teamed up Saturday for an emergency food drive.

The event was held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 655 building in Ballwin.
