MANASSAS, Va. – A 59-year-old man was assaulted in an attempted strong-armed robbery Thursday morning in Manassas after refusing to hand over his backpack to an unidentified attacker.
The incident occurred just after 11 a.m. in the 8300 block of Sudley Road.
The victim was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries…
