Stained glass in churches and other buildings throughout DeKalb County will be shared during the “Stained Glass Driving Tour” as part of America 250 celebrations. The tour will take place Nov. 7-8 from 6-9 p.m.
DeKalb County America 250 coordinator Sarah Nelson explained the State of Indiana has tasked her counties with commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence throughout this year up to July 4, 2026.
Nelson said the Stained Glass Driving Tour originally was “birthed from a desire to share the important role that churches and faith communities have played from the founding of our county to the present.”…
