LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Officials with the Lexington Fire Department celebrated Halloween this week by showing off a station with a spooky past, highlighting some former crewmembers still hanging around.
The department’s oldest firehouse – located at 246 Jefferson Street- was reportedly built in 1904. Named “the Vogt Reel House,” the station serves downtown Lexington, including Transylvania University, Rupp Arena, and Manchester Street. Rumor has it that the building is haunted.
