MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WIAT) — The Alabama Association of Nonprofits is calling the government shutdown a civic crisis. Despite that crisis, some Alabama charities say they are doing everything they can to serve their communities.
This comes as SNAP assistance will be suspended in less than 24 hours.
