BRONX – The third-seeded Monroe University – Bronx women’s volleyball team will battle second-seeded Fashion Institute of Technology in the Region 15 Semifinal round on Saturday afternoon. The contest will take place on the campus of Dutchess Community College, up in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., beginning at 12 p.m.
The winner of the contest will compete in the Region 15 Championship match right after, at around 2 p.m., against the winner of the top-seeded Nassau Community College vs. #4-seed Westchester Community College.
The two teams that advance to the regional championship match will earn automatic bids into the NJCAA Division Women’s Volleyball National Tournament which will take place in Cedar Rapids, Iowa from November 13 until November 15…
