This week, Lincoln Public Schools is highlighting Jeff Pierce, the associate athletic and activities director at Lincoln Northeast High School. Pierce is recognized by colleagues and students for his consistent support and presence at the school. He manages events, serves concessions, and greets students in the hallway as part of his daily responsibilities.
Pierce assists the athletic director with the department’s operations. His duties include facility and event management, scheduling, ensuring compliance with athletic codes, supporting coaches and sponsors, and managing social media for events. He is also involved in hiring, evaluations, and enforcing NSAA and district policies. Pierce works to maintain a positive environment for athletics and activities at Lincoln Northeast.
Pierce has worked in Lincoln Public Schools for 28 years and has 36 years of experience in education.
