Oregon, IL – Ogle County will glow green this week as part of Operation Green Light, a nationwide initiative recognizing the service of U.S. military veterans. Beginning Sunday, November 3, and continuing through Veterans Day on November 11, the Ogle County Courthouse and other county buildings will be illuminated in green light to show support for those who have served.
According to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, residents are invited to join the effort by placing a green light bulb near their front door or window. The department will also highlight Sheriff’s Office employees who have served in the armed forces throughout the week…
