Crew rescues dog trapped in Clearwater house fire

CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — A dog was rescued Saturday after it was trapped inside a house that caught fire in Clearwater.

According to a release, at 6:42 a.m. Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a house fire on Barbara Avenue.

At the scene, firefighters extinguished the fire and rescued a dog that was trapped inside the burning structure.

Crew members treated the dog by giving it oxygen before Clearwater police rushed the animal to an emergency veterinarian for further treatment…
