GREENSBORO, N.C. — WFMY News 2 is stepping up to help families in need. The station is partnering with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina for an emergency food drive as the suspension of federal SNAP benefits leaves thousands of local households struggling to put food on the table.
How You Can Help
• Bring donations in person to Lowes Foods on New Garden Road in Greensboro, 6 a.m.–6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 5.
• Your impact doubles: Every dollar will be matched by The Ginther Group (up to $15,000).
• Bonus: Every person who donates in person on Wednesday will be entered to win two tickets to Tina – The Tina Turner Musical at the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts.
