Midstate food pantries seeing surge of those in need

LEMOYNE, Pa. (WHTM) — Midstate food pantries are keeping busy as the need for food assistance continues to grow, especially with the ongoing federal government shutdown.

“This place is great,” said Joseph Thomas of Cumberland County. “The people are great here.”

Thomas is just one of many who benefit from the nonprofit organization, New Hope Ministries.
