Celebrities spotted in Del Mar for Breeders’ Cup World Championships

DEL MAR, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — The 2025 Breeders’ Cup World Championships brought Hollywood glamour and excitement to the coast this weekend, as celebrities, athletes and fans packed the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club for one of horse racing’s most prestigious events.

From the track to the Trophy Lounge, stars from film, television, music, and sports soaked in the action while enjoying an elevated dining experience curated by celebrity chef Curtis Stone.

Among the notable names spotted at Del Mar were actress Elizabeth Banks, “The Summer I Turned Pretty” star Gavin Casalegno, actor Owen Wilson, model Genevieve Morton, musician Richie Sambora, “The Office” star Brian Baumgartner, actress Bo Derek, and actor John Ortiz.

The star-studded guest list didn’t end there — attendees also included Joel Michaely, Bonnie-Jill Laflin, IndyCar driver Alexander Rossi, former MLB outfielder Jayson Werth, Shawn Kelly, polo player Kareem Rosser, Loreen Hwang, influencers Griffin Johnson and Bryce Hall, Peter Weber, Dale Moss, TJ Palma, Damien Broderick, and Katya Tolstova, among others.
