SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – If you passed outside of the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House on Sunday afternoon, you might have seen Rudy Navarrete and his food truck serving up meals.
Navarrete parked his truck there to serve meals to people who need them, especially as SNAP benefits are in limbo right now.
He said he’s been inspired to help, as others in the community have stepped up to provide food as well. And he said, most people are only a couple of missed paychecks away from dealing with homelessness themselves…
