Hubbard man missing during hunting trip, resources on the hunt

Devon Dobek told a friend he was returning early Friday, but never showed up

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office continues the search for missing Hubbard hunter Devon Dobek, who disappeared Friday evening.

More than 20 searchers have been in the field using ATVs, drones, and K9s through Sunday. Once weather conditions permitted, the Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit launched its fixed-wing Cessna 182 aircraft to assist from the air.

Additional resources being used included Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue volunteers, Mountain Wave Search and Rescue, Pacific Northwest Search and Rescue, Hood River Crag Rats, Lake Oswego Police Department’s Drone Team, and Portland Mountain Rescue.

Sunday’s search included the same resources, with the addition of Search and Rescue teams from the Washington, Multnomah, and Marion County Sheriff’s Offices…
