Gas Prices Slightly Drop in Capital Region

Gas prices in the Capital Region have decreased slightly, providing some relief to drivers. According to AAA, the average cost for a gallon of regular fuel in the region is now $3.07, which is a decrease of one cent from last week and eight cents lower than a month ago. Across New York, the average price is slightly higher at $3.10 per gallon. Nationally, the average price for gas is $3.03.

These figures reflect the ongoing trend of fluctuating gas prices across the country. In neighboring states, prices vary, with Vermont averaging $3.085 and New Jersey at $2.969. The District of Columbia has a higher average of $3.205, while Delaware’s average is lower at $2.913.
