Midlands authorities are investigating after a person died in a shooting.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said in a release that deputies responded to a shooting at about 1:15 a.m. Nov. 1 to the 600 block of Camp Ground Road. When deputies got on the scene, they found citizens attempting to help a victim with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
