Polk County hosts Operation Green Light to help drivers reinstate their licenses

Drivers in Polk County can reinstate their licenses without additional outside collection agency fee applied to outstanding court fines. The fines are being waived for one week only, but customers must pay the full fine amount. Thanks to Operation Green Light, once these fines are paid, customers can proceed with the reinstatement of their driver’s license.

According to a press release from Polk County, “This event provides a critical opportunity for residents to resolve their overdue fines and regain their ability to drive legally,” said Clerk Butterfield. “A suspended license can create major obstacles, from financial strain to limiting job opportunities. Operation Green Light is one way our office supports the community while helping people get back on the road safely and responsibly.”

It is taking place November 3 to November 7 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended hours until 6:00 p.m. on November 4 only…
