LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville has a lot to celebrate this December, including another lifetime achievement award for legendary jockey Pat Day.
The community is invited to the museum on Dec. 11, 2025, for its annual “Derby in December” event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Several special activities are planned throughout the day, according to a news release Monday, including drawings for exclusive prize packages.
This year’s event will also feature presentation of the museum’s second Lifetime Achievement Award to Hall of Fame jockey Pat Day. A meet-and-greet will take place afterwards, along with the unveiling of a new temporary exhibit honoring Day’s storied career…
