Gotham FC enters Decision Day with the opportunity to finish the regular season with a flourish in a campaign where the Bats have already matched their second-highest point total in franchise history.
Though Gotham clinched a playoff place back on Oct. 19, Sunday’s meeting with the North Carolina Courage offers the opportunity to enter the 2025 NWSL playoffs as high as fourth seed and open the postseason at Sports Illustrated Stadium. Currently, Gotham is seventh in the NWSL with 36 points and a plus-11 goal differential.
Places are tight, and Gotham will need to win, hoping that results elsewhere will push them into fourth place when the dust settles on the NWSL regular season…
