SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The air is calm now, but it won’t stay that way. The Sacramento skyline glows under a quiet morning sky, yet a developing system off the Pacific promises to change the mood — bringing gusty winds, cooler temperatures, and a brief burst of rain by midweek.
A Wind Advisory takes effect Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon for much of the Sacramento Valley, including Redding, Chico, and Fairfield. The National Weather Service expects southerly winds between 15 and 25 mph, with gusts that could top 50 mph in open areas and along ridges.
