Monroe County early voting ends; 31,100+ showed up to polls

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Early voting across Monroe County officially ended on Sunday, closing out a 9-day-long period.

According to the Monroe County Board of Elections, a total of 31,174 residents took part in early voting at one of 13 polling sites across the area. The Perinton Square Mall saw the highest turnout with a reported overall of 4,762 voters.

Most early ballots were cast on the final day, with a total of 4,737 voters. The second day of voting, on Sunday, October 26, saw the lowest amount of reported voters for the week, with a total of 2,302.
