Seven people were shot in Toledo over the weekend, with two killed and five wounded.
Just before 3 a.m. Saturday , police responded to the 1000 block of Hamilton Street on a report of shots fired. They found a house had been stuck multiple times and found one of the occupants had been shot in the leg once. Deshawn Searcy, 33, refused medical treatment and was uncooperative with investigators, police said.
A short time later, at 3:45 a.m., crews responded to the 800 block of Woodward Avenue for a report of a person shot. They found LaJuan Layton, 42, lying in the street with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center…
