Law enforcement arrests three for bank robbery, drugs

The Oshkosh Police Department and Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Martin Muniz-Lara and two others last Wednesday in connection with an armed robbery at the Premier Community Bank Oct. 17 in Bear Creek.

“The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend our appreciation to the Oshkosh Police Department, Lake Winnebago Area MEG – Drug Unit, Fox Crossing Police Department, Grand Chute Police Department and the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department for their assistance in this investigation,” Nathan Borman, captain of operations at the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department, said.

According to law enforcement, Muniz-Lara was located on the 2300 block of Jackson St. in Oshkosh after an extensive investigation and was taken into custody without incident…
