Ramsey County property owners should be on the lookout for their Proposed Property Tax Notice coming in mid-November. According to an update from Ramsey County’s website, these notices will provide an estimate of the property taxes that will be due in 2026, assuming the current budget proposals from the county, cities, and school districts are passed. Property Tax Notices will also be available online for those who prefer the digital route, complete with a tax and value lookup tool.
Moving forward, Ramsey County has set a date for residents to voice their concerns or support for the proposed 2026 budget and tax levy; the public hearing is penciled in for December 11th, kicking off at 6 p.m. sharp at the Saint Paul City Hall–Ramsey County Courthouse. For anyone staking a claim in Ramsey County, being heard in person is one way to go, but for those unable to attend or who favor the written word, comments can also be submitted online to the board of commissioners.
