Back Away: Knife Flash Alleged In Waldorf Domestic Dispute

WALDORF, Md. — A Waldorf man has been charged with first- and second-degree assault following a domestic incident in which a knife was reportedly displayed, according to court records.

Charging documents identify the suspect as Julius Novil Day, 44. He faces one felony count of first-degree assault and one misdemeanor count of second-degree assault tied to an Oct. 4, 2025, incident in the Sheffield neighborhood.
