Former prominent defense attorney charged after being shot by Hudson police

STOW, Ohio — A former prominent criminal defense attorney was charged Monday, months after Hudson police shot him as he ran at officers while wielding a hammer.

Carlos Warner, a former assistant federal public defender, is charged in Stow Municipal Court with felonious assault, a first-degree felony, and vandalism, a fifth-degree felony.
