AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Three-year-old Vera Langston just celebrated her birthday thanks to life-saving treatment she received at Wellstar Children’s Hospital of Georgia.
Dalton and Laura Langston watched their newborn daughter fight for every breath after what started as a normal delivery quickly took a turn.
“The neonatologist came in to my room and I remember he knelt down at the bedside and had tears in his eyes and said Vera is very sick. She is very ill and needs to be transferred to the NICU,” Laura Langston said…
