JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — An arrest was made in connection to a car crash over the summer that left two graduates from Coroner High School dead.
2 killed, child injured in Calhoun County crash
Kamden Willis was charged with reckless murder and is being held with no bond. Court documents allege that Willis was driving at a high rate of speed and/or under the influence of alcohol and crashed, resulting in the death of Treylen Floyd and Tristan Cox.
On July 20, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, a pickup truck with eight passengers left the roadway and struck a utility pole shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday.
