GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCSC) – The city of Goose Creek is working to allow a new German auto shop to be built. But first, they’ll need to reverse some zoning that was changed about a year ago.
City officials are considering a proposal to change a more than five-acre parcel, adjacent to Etiwan Drive and North Goose Creek Boulevard, from ‘village node,’ which was changed about a year ago, back to general commercial. The purpose of the General Commercial district is to provide lands that accommodate a broad range of nonresidential uses like retail, office, and service establishments.
