HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Detectives from the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office have identified human remains found in the Lynnville area on Friday as a man who has been reported missing from Evansville since 2023.
According to a post from the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office, a hunter was conducting a scouting expedition in the area on Friday when he came across what he believed to be human remains. During a search of the area, investigators were able to collect the remains and transpor tthem to the Vanderburgh County morgue for DNA analysis.
The sheriff’s office identified the remains on Monday as 38-year-old Zachary Carey. Authorities say Carey was last seen in the Lynnville area in 2023…
