Grand Rapids celebrates one year of EV car share program

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The city of Grand Rapids is celebrating one year of its electric vehicle car share program.

The city’s Mobile GR Department launched its DART EV CarShare program in October 2024 as a pilot program to provide people with low-cost access to electric vehicles.

In a statement, officials said they hoped the program would “reduce the financial burden of car ownership while expanding access to transportation options.”
