Outside of New Orleans, three restaurants along the Gulf Coast were recognized Monday in Michelin’s first regional guide for the American South, after the 2025 list appeared to be accidentally published in a press release.
The recognition reflects how the Gulf Coast’s dining landscape has evolved, diversified and expanded in recent decades, becoming a region making a name for itself outside of New Orleans, long a powerhouse in the South’s culinary scene.
