The City of Fort Pierce’s Grants Administration Division will start two new housing programs for the 2025–2026 funding cycle. These are the Foreclosure Assistance Program and the Residential Rehabilitation Program. The programs will use $356,368 from State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) funds. They are designed to help income-eligible homeowners in Fort Pierce avoid foreclosure and make needed home repairs. Applications will open on January 5, 2026. They will be reviewed in the order they are received until the funds run out.
