Between the morning of October 31 and November 3, 2025, local law enforcement responded to 994 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or accidental 911 calls. Calls were distributed across city districts. The East district had 200 calls, Central had 191, North had 178, Midtown had 145, West had 129, South had 120, and 31 calls were listed as ‘Other.’ The ‘Other’ category includes incidents outside city sectors or when officers assist other agencies.
On Friday morning, officers responded to a hotel in the South district for a reported sexual assault. A 30-year-old male was arrested and charged with second-degree sexual assault and strangulation. The victim was taken to a local hospital for evaluation. The investigation is ongoing.
Shortly after, in the East district, police found a 49-year-old male driver unconscious behind the wheel and blocking traffic. The individual was uncooperative and resisted arrest. He was detained, medically cleared, and booked on several charges. These included his third offense of operating a vehicle under the influence, resisting arrest, and possession of THC and drug paraphernalia.
