St. Louis man charged with carjacking at ATM

ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis Circuit Court judge signed an arrest warrant Monday for a man wanted in connection with a carjacking at an ATM in the city’s Jeff-Vader-Lou neighborhood.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s probable cause statement, the crime happened on Aug. 11 just before 4:15 a.m. at a drive-thru ATM in the 3600 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard.

The victim told police he was withdrawing cash when he saw a red Jeep pull into the next spot. Two men jumped out of the Jeep, pointed a gun at him, and demanded his Ford F-150 and other valuables…
