Concern over data center spurs Coweta residents to pack city council meeting

COWETA, (Okla.) — A full hour before the start of Monday’s city council meeting in Coweta demonstrators began arriving with their signs in opposition to the data center, one of them so large, it was pulled on a trailer by longtime Coweta resident Allen Prather.

“My family goes back in Coweta for five generations,” he said.
