(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs City Council is considering an ordinance to address the growing number of people living in vehicles parked outside homes and businesses.
“The goal is not to punish anyone or make life harder for anyone,” said Council Member Dave Donelson, District 1.
Donelson has proposed a law that would make it illegal to park a vehicle in the same spot for more than 24 hours. The ordinance aims to help maintain orderly streets and connect vehicle campers with services.
