Two drivers licenses suspended for excessive speeds

(CUSTER COUNTY, Colo.) — The Custer County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said two drivers had their licenses suspended after they were ticketed for excessive speeds in late October.

According to CCSO, on Oct. 22, a 71-year-old woman from Colorado Springs was ticketed for allegedly driving her Porsche at 96 mph in a 55 mph zone near Wetmore.

On Oct. 24, an 18-year-old man from Fountain was ticketed for allegedly driving his Honda at 92 mph in a 50 mph zone near Silver Cliff. CCSO noted the ticket was issued around 6:30 a.m., a time when the risk of wildlife crossing is high and visibility is low…
