Local grand jury issues indictments for assault, fleeing crimes

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for assault, fleeing and drug trafficking crimes on Friday.

Twenty-year-old Jaden Miller of Hopkinsville was indicted for first-degree assault after he reportedly admitted to shooting a male victim in the leg on September 5 near Poston Avenue and Beech Street.

Twenty-seven-year-old Gideon Stoltzfus of Hopkinsville was indicted for multiple charges after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit while he was under the influence of alcohol on September 4. He was indicted for first-degree fleeing or evading police, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, speeding, having not operator’s license and having an inadequate muffler…
