NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Nashville Electric Service is offering a bit of relief for people impacted by the federal government shutdown and funding issues for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP.
NES customers can have their bill payment extended for 30 days.
“We understand that customers can fall on hard times that may prevent them from paying their bill on time,” NES said in a released statement.
