WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – A death investigation is underway in Wakulla County after human remains were discovered on the Apalachicola National Forest property last week, according to the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation comes after deputies were called by a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) officer around 11:40 a.m. Thursday, WCSO spokesperson Captain Brett Surace confirmed to WCTV Tuesday morning.
