19-year-old woman arrested in El Paso hit-and-run that killed TSA employee

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A 19-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the hit-and-run that killed a 52-year-old TSA employee in Central El Paso.

According to the El Paso Police Department, Vivian Rose Padilla was arrested on Monday after investigators linked her to the hit-and-run that happened back on Sept. 7 and killed David Carmine O’Connor, a TSA employee who was riding an electric-assisted bicycle.

Investigators believe Padilla was driving a 2017 Kia Soul at around 1:38 a.m. at the 4600 block of Pershing Drive when she allegedly crashed into O’Connor and fled the scene…
