Did you know the best city for veterans in the entire country is right here in the Lone Star State? As a veteran from Texas, the only thing surprising to me about the results of a recent study is that there aren’t more Texas cities ranked among the 10 that are best for veterans.
For me, the benefits that come from being a veteran weren’t really at the top of my mind when I joined the Navy back in the day. I was always drawn toward the adventure of being in the military more than anything else. The benefits were simply an added bonus for me.

So, I love to see our veterans taken care of. Call me biased, but I think it should be a priority for every local government to push initiatives that make living there a little easier for those who made sacrifices for our country.
