More working poor and temporarily out of work seeking help from Stewpot

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The government shutdown has gone from days to weeks, with furloughed workers now feeling the pinch more than ever.

Some are looking to food pantries to bridge the gap while waiting hopefully for the return of their paychecks.
