More gusty winds Tuesday in New Mexico

Another day of summer-like temps

While the Albuquerque metro fell one degree shorter of breaking a 107-year-old record Monday, Santa Fe broke a 76-year-old record Monday at 3 p.m. when the airport measured 71 degrees.

Afternoon highs will be above average again for most across the region.

Another day of rain-free skies

Some cloud cover is expected for some Tuesday, mainly in the northeast where clouds will be heaviest. The metro should be under full sunshine by the afternoon. Any clouds won’t produce any rainfall, keeping our rain-free streak going at 11 days.

Blustery winds for some

Hopefully you have put away your Halloween decorations if you live in northeastern New Mexico. Winds could be quite strong off the eastern Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

Winds will be gusting upwards to 35-45 mph. The metro could see breezy conditions in the afternoon but not as strong. Winds could gust upwards to 15 mph in the metro.
